Dear NFW Residents,

In continuing to advocate for more funding for streets and in addition to the $150M bond program approved by the voters in May 2008, I asked city staff to brief council on utilizing the $15M in unrestricted gas well revenues on streets.

City staff presented to council a proposal on how to utilize the $15M in unrestricted gas well revenues.

Accordingly, the following roads north of Loop 820 are included in same:

1.  Ray White Road - From North Tarrant Parkway to Shiver Rd - District 2

2. Thompson Road - Flowertree Dr. to Riverside - Districts 2/4

3.  Old Decatur Road - Boaz to McElroy - District 7

The design would take place in FY 09 (2008-2009) and construction would take place in FY 10 (2009-2010).

For your review, we have attached an electronic version of city staff's presentation to the Infrastructure and Transportation Council Committee and to the entire council..
