Zoning and Land Use Committee

The Zoning and Land Use committee is comprised of individuals of our member communities whose interest is in helping the area within the boundaries of the North Fort Worth Alliance grow efficiently. This committee works with the city staff, developers, and residents alike to ensure future land use and current zoning meet the needs of the residents within our boundaries.

At a committee meeting on 12 August, Robert Rouse provided information to committee members on Case PP-08-010 Preliminary Platting of Valley Brook Phase VI. One of the main concerns voiced by the committee members is only having one entry into and out of the neighborhood.

Lennar Homes will seek four waivers for this property.

Update: On 27 August 2008, Valley Brook Plan. Com Case #008-010 was granted a continuance for 60 days to allow the applicant some time to work out some of the access issues.
