March 16th @ 9:00AM: How to protest your property taxes, guest speaker(s) to be announced.
April 20th @ 9:00AM: Mayor Betsy Price, Councilmen Flores, Moon, and Shingleton, and Fort Worth Library Director Manya Shorr.
April 23rd @ 7:00PM: Commander Krouse, FWPD, Chief Davis, FWFD, CEO Hooten, MedStar Mobile Healthcare. Please note location is different than where we have our regular monthly meetings. It will be at the Sendera Ranch Amenities Center, 556 Rancho Canyon Way, Fort Worth.
May 18th: Fort Worth Police Department’s, Lt. Buck Wheeler, Use of Force Coordinator, will present on Use of Force by Police Officers. The presentation will cover descriptions of the decision making criteria used by the Officers when encountering a situation.
June 15th: Golden Triangle Branch Library & Tarrant County Courts Satellite Office Guest speakers will be Manya Shorr, Fort Worth Public Library Director, and William Rumuly, Fort Worth Municiple Courts Clerk of the Court who will be sharing presentations on the Golden Triangle Branch Library and Fort Worth’s FIRST Municipal Courts Satellite Office. This much LONG AWAITED facility will be unlike ANYTHING in the Fort Worth library system or neighboring cities. Bring those questions! If you cannot attend, make sure someone from your HOA does, ask your neighbor or significant other. OR ask your HOA board WHO your HOA rep to the North Fort Worth Alliance is. September 21st: Fort Worth Parks & Recreation. Updates on the Northwest Community Park, the Alliance Community Park, Kingsridge Park and Vineyards at Heritage. Joel McElhany, Fort Worth Capital Program Manager with the Parks and Recreation will present.
October 19th: The new City of Fort Worth Transportation & Public Works Director (Doug Wiersig’s replacement (yet to be hired) as of this posting).
